Cultures are like paintings, not necessarily works of art. But like the strokes of a brush, each person, each attitude, each gesture, each opinion paints the picture. Trying to know what judgement will be passed on us long after we are gone is as futile as an individual line of a painting knowing what the painting will look like. Too incomplete, too close to the eyes.

I am curious to know why most advertising goes out of its way to make the men in relationships look silly idiots ... socially incompetent buffoons.

Do people actually find that funny?
