I have been more than a little busy the last few days. Lots of work-work-work going on in my life, from my regular job to some side-contract work. And, for some reason, the calls have been coming in from recruiters and HR people at the rate of about 1 every four business days. Not offers, of course, but calls to submit my resume for consideration. Well, it's nice to receive such calls, of course, and I must admit that I'm the kind of boy who has trouble saying, "no" ... but I just can't bring myself to go for more interviews when I am so insanely busy with the contracts and jobs I have at present.

Of course, that level of activity is seriously cutting into my Rant-o-Rama time, hence such a short entry today. Of course, I always like to wax long and loud complaining about people's children, or the state of assholery in some corner of the world ... or just shoot the breeze about how danged intolerant we've all been for the last decade or so ... and how the pendulum is starting to shift back to something approximating "balance".

Oh, and do you want a hint about that? Keep your eyes on the feminists: When radical hardcore feminism is only a step or two away from mainstream consciousness, you know that the pendulum is over to the left. I'm not saying it's there, yet. But I have noticed that feminism comes in waves that mirror general Western societal trends.
