Do you ever get 404 (Not Found) errors that say something like the following?

404 - Page not found

You obviously typed the wrong URL, you incompetent mis-typing moron! There's just no other way you could have gotten to this 404 page; the only way 404 pages are seen is when monkey fingers touch keyboards. Well, I guess there might be some other way to get to a 404 page, but I don't consider them as likely as it just being your incompetent typing.

And are you like me and get all chuffed and chunged because you didn't type anything at all, you just clicked a link?

Well, maybe you don't lose sleep over the same trivia that I do, but this one irks me to no end. I hate being told I didn't type the URL correctly when all I did was just click some link. (Technically, by the way, it's a URI, not a URL, but that's a semantic issue.) I've got my own custom 404 page, and I made darned sure to not tell those who come across it that it is all their fault when chances are very good that it was my fault for linking to a nonexistent page—or, more likely, removing the page afterwards, thereby breaking the link.
