So, like, where the hell have I been, eh?

Answer: Was and still am on vacation.

Some Sort of Zen

It's in our nature
Not to let things go
Hold them so close to us
We don't let 'em grow
The laughs we knew before
We don't hear anymore
Goodbye, my friend
A happy end
Some sort of zen.

All this time
You never knew what made me tick
We try to talk
But where's the fun in it?
Once again
I cast off another friend
It quite a trend
See? I'm all about the end.

There's a catharsis
In saying goodbye
Transcends the words themselves
A freedom of the mind
Connections we once had
Have all gone bad
Goodbye, my friend
A happy end
Some sort of zen.
