After sanding down all the old painted surfaces, and washing off the dust with a sponge (and letting it dry!) I began to apply the new paint. Note the loud yellow--almost orange--colour of the new paint. I was somewhat nervous about the warmth of it; I'm more used to cool greys and whites in my living spaces. But I have to admit: I actually felt warmer and warmer as I applied the paint. And a warm bathroom in the winter is one of life's little pleasures.
